Panasonic launches Lumix DC-S1 and S1R

Panasonic has released full details of its two pro-oriented full-frame mirrorless cameras. The Lumix S1R, aimed purely at stills shooters, will debut in April with built-in 5-axis IS, a 187MP multi-shot high resolution mode and 6 fps burst shooting with AFC.

Ricoh announces Pentax 35mm F2 and 11-18mm F2.8 lenses

Ricoh has announced a pair of Pentax K-mount lenses: the HD PENTAX-FA 35mm F2 (an update to the classic 'AL' model) and the HD PENTAX-DA*11-18mm F2.8 ED DC AW (which was originally supposed to ship last summer). Both lenses will be available in February.
