Welcome to the 720th DPReview newsletter!

This week we've been finishing up our review of Fujifilm's latest midrange ILC, the small and nicely-priced X-T100. We've also been taking a close look at the Palette modular editing system, designed to make image editing (among other things) easier.

Meanwhile, I had fun shooting with (and writing about) Leica's 75mm F1.25 Noctilux, and Fujifilm quietly released a new camera. We're looking forward to trying out the XF10 soon, and you can find out more about it via the link below.

Fujifilm X-T100 review

The Fujifilm X-T100 is the company's least expensive X-series camera to include an electronic viewfinder. It shares most of its guts with the entry-level X-A5, including its hybrid AF system and 24MP sensor and, unfortunately, its 4K/15p video mode.

Fujifilm's XF10 is a small, wide-angle APS-C compact

Fujifilm has announced the XF10, a premium compact camera with a fast 28mm equivalent F2.8 lens and 24MP APS-C sensor. This replacement for the X70 will ship in August for $500.

Fujifilm has announced the XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR telephoto lens along with a matching 1.4x teleconverter. This weather-sealed lens - 'matte silver' in color with a bold green hood - has a total of 19 elements, a nine-blade aperture and five stops of shake reduction according to Fujifilm. The lens and teleconverter kit will be available in late October for $6000.
