Sony announces the a7R III

Sony took the wraps off of its new a7R III full-frame mirrorless camera. While it looks a lot like its predecessor, the Mark III gets a faster processor that allows for 10 fps burst shooting, enhanced AF performance and better 4K video quality. Additional controls and a higher-res EVF have been added, and battery life has improved considerably.

Fujifilm X-E3 review

The Fujifilm X-E3 is an attractive rangefinder-style camera with plenty of manual controls and the company's reliable 24MP X-Trans CMOS sensor. Sigma announces 'world's first' 16mm F1.4 lens for Sony E-mount and Micro Four Thirds

Japanese lens-maker Sigma is teasing a new 16mm F1.4 lens for Sony E (APS-C) and Micro Four Thirds mounts. These lenses will be equivalent to 24mm and 32mm, respectively, and weigh just over 400 grams (14 ounces). The company says that image quality will 'rival' that of their high-end Art lenses. We're definitely looking forward to getting our hands on one!

Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V vs. Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III

The Sony RX100 V and Canon G1 X both have 24-70mm equiv. lenses, larger-than-average sensors (especially the Canon) and high price tags. Allison takes a look at how the two compare in terms of lens speed, design, autofocus, video and more.
