This week's top real estate headlines

Can you believe that Blanket is all grown up? Prince Michael “Bigi” Jackson II just plunked down a little more than $2.62 million for a Calabasas starter house. But he won't be too far from his childhood home considering that he grew up at his grandmother Katherine's much larger Calabasas estate after his father’s death. Meanwhile, Melissa McCarthy has once again expanded her real estate portfolio with the $2.4 million purchase of a newly constructed residence in the increasingly expensive Valley Village area.

In other news, two rare Richard Neutra-designed houses have come to market, legendary rock manager Jeff Jampol listed two rock-pedigreed Hollywood Hills homes, David Chokachi is listing one Miracle Mile home so he can move into another, "Fast & Furious" producer Steven Chasman is looking for someone to scoop up his $15 million estate, and Jordan Clarkson wants to bounce out of Woodland Hills.
