This week's top real estate headlines

Prepare to have your wig snatched! YouTube superstar turned makeup mogul Jeffree Star just dropped $14.6 million on a bonafide mega-compound in Hidden Hills. Bought with longtime boyfriend skateboarder Nathan Schwandt, Star's new palace is one of the largest and most opulent mansions in the entire community. Meanwhile in a galaxy not so far, far away, "Star Wars" director George Lucas and his wife have expanded their Carpinteria beachfront property with the purchase of a neighboring house. No word on if Baby Yoda will be taking up residence with the couple.

In other news, Dr. Barbara Sturm ponied up $15 million for a tony Beverly Hills house, "Sopranos" producer David Chase is setting down stakes in Santa Monica, YouTuber Phil DeFranco bought a pricey Encino complex, and Patricia Wettig and Ken Olin are getting cozy in a chic, barn-inspired home in Venice.
