This week's top real estate headlines

Meet the Barzanis. The politically-prominent, ultra-wealthy, and controversial family of Kurdistan is making a grand entrance into the 90210 with the purchase of not just one, but two outlandishly elaborate Beverly Hills houses. Meanwhile, Bill Gerber ("A Star Is Born") is also making some big real estate moves in Beverly Hills. He recently sold his stylish midcentury modern house to Wendy Abrams, a prominent Chicago-based philanthropist in a hush-hush, off-market deal for $9.3 million.

In other news, Aaron Paul relisted his West Hollywood villa at a reduced price, Jeff Lewis put a newly rehabbed house on the market, globe-trotting socialite Persia Dime made an extravagant home purchase, Halsey listed her Beachwood Canyon manse, Joanna Swisher and her husband settled into a posh Beverly Hills neighborhood, and Jon Peters is looking for a buyer for his Wilshire luxury high-rise.
