This week's top real estate headlines

Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves have officially sold their longtime Malibu home in an off-market deal to filmmaker Phil Lord for $14.8 million. Not only does the "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" director now own a handsome, 3,800-square foot residence, but he also has access to Little Dume Beach — one of the most exclusive beaches in Malibu. Meanwhile, over in Tarzana, "Empire" actors Trai and Grace Byers have swapped their Hollywood Hills house for some upscale digs in the Valley. Their new property features at least four bedrooms and packs in luxury amenities like a chef's kitchen and a soundproof movie theater into 6,500 square feet.

In other news, the former Los Feliz home of Tim Disney is now asking $7.5 million, Uzbek diplomat Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva put three Hollywood Hills houses on the market, actor Shemar Moore took a financial hit on the sale of his Encino Spanish-style abode and "Avengers: Endgame" director Anthony Russo found a buyer for his East Coast traditional for just a tad under $3.3 million.
