This week's top real estate headlines

With all of the talk about Meghan and Harry in the news lately, it's easy to forget that other sorts of royals exist. Back in the spring of 2019, HRH Saudi Princess Maha Alsaud listed her designer-renovated, part-time home for $9.5 million and got no takers. Now, the property has been listed yet again with a $1.5 million discount at a hopeful $7.9 million. Meanwhile, Demi Lovato is singing "Here We Go Again" and is also trying to get rid of an old house. Her stylish Laurel Canyon home is back on the market for just a touch under $9 million.

In other news, promotional home pics are out, videos are in, "Blood Diamond" actor Djimon Hounsou is bringing some star power to Silicon Beach, Josh Radnor is hoofing it out of Hollywood Hills to Los Feliz, a couple of married models make a $2.65 million deal with a couple of married actors, Nickelodeoon prez Brian Robbins is swapping Hancock Park for Beverly Hills, and John Caudwell has sunk $85 million into rennovating his London mansion and upped the value of his home by $200 million.

Saudi Princess Maha Alsaud Tries Again in Mulholland Estates

Princess Maha's luxurious mansion is located in L.A.’s celeb-packed Mulholland Estates which is also home to A-listers like the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Kendall Jenner, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, Vanna White, and DJ Khaled. The princess is apparently known for her flair and passion for design. Accented with carefully-planned landscaping details, the home was originally built in 1990 and sports atypical architecture that’s perhaps best described as ’80s modern with a distinctly Japanese-influenced twist.
