This week's top real estate headlines

Last week, a $75 million deal went down for two colossal, side-by-side mansions in L.A.'s Bird Streets and a mystery was born — who bought the two homes? Well, Dirt has done the digging and revealed the identity of the fat cat buyers. Meanwhile, big things are happening on the East Coast. Michelle Williams, the famously keeps-to-herself actress, made one of the biggest Brooklyn Heights real estate deals for a $10.8 million historical home with "Hamilton" director Tommy Kail. But Williams is no stranger to Brooklyn — she first put Boerum Hill on the celebrity real estate map in 2005 when she and late partner Heath Ledger bought a townhouse there.

In other news, real estate agents are secretly so over twilight opens, hard rocker Mike Shinoda is listing his once-Paula-Abdul-owned BevHills mansion, JoBeth Williams and hubby John Pasquin Williams want $30 million for their Bel Air Estate, Lenny Kravitz has picked up an interesting hobby, former Starz CEO Chris Albrecht has listed his opulent Pacific Palisades estate for an even $18 million, "Criminal Minds" star Joe Mantegna has listed his Tudor-style Toluca Lake home, Brie Larson sold a small bungalow in Studio City for $1.4 million, and "Avatar" actor Sam Worthington is asking for a touch over $9 million for his Sunset Strip home.

Foxconn Heir Bought the $75 Million Bird Streets Compound, Smashing Neighborhood Record

This week it was revealed by property records that the show-stopping mansions were bought by two mysterious LLCs.
