The Philippines will take center stage at the 2025 Frankfurter Buchmesse (FBM) as the Guest of Honour (GoH)!

As a preview of what’s to come, the Philippines will bring its diverse talent to FBM 2024, featuring over 70 publishers, authors, and creatives. This includes an impressive display of 700 titles spanning genres including graphic novels, children’s books, new adult fiction, and educational materials.

Visitors can explore these works at the Philippine stand located at Hall 5.1 A76, as well as in several genre-specific areas:

Events at FBM 2024 Featuring Filipino Authors, Creatives, and Publishers

October 16-18: Frankfurt Stages

The International Stage will feature talks from Jose Dalisay, Jaya Jacobo, Patricia Evangelista, and historian Ambeth Ocampo.

International Stage: Hall 5.1

The ARTS+ Stage will host Budjette Tan, Patricia Evangelista, illustrators Isabel Roxas and Frances Alvarez (members of Ang INK).

ARTS+ Stage: Hall 4.1

Mina Esguerra, author and publisher, will be speaking at the New Adult Stage.

New Adult Stage: Hall 1.2
