Watchmen Of The Night

This award-winning program, full of beautiful images and monastic chant, presents the life of Benedictine monks of the French Abbey of Sainte-Madeleine du Barroux. Following the Rule of St. Benedict, the monks begin their first of eight scheduled times of prayer with Matins at Midnight and end with Compline at 9:00 pm. The program offers the viewer a deeper understanding of Benedictine spirituality and a privileged glimpse into monastic life. Filmed in French with English subtitles.
