UP FIRST Disney to release a pricey 100-movie Blu-ray collection Devoted fans who splash out on the set will also bag a crystal Mickey Mouse ears hat Disney has announced something rather special as part of its centenary celebrations. The Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection comprises 100 animated movies from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Pixar, spanning the company's entire feature-film history. It comes neatly packaged as a three-volume set of Blu-ray discs that unfolds like a storybook, according to The Wrap, whose report lists all 100 movie titles. Those willing to fork out the hefty $1,500 asking price will get digital codes for each movie, too. Also part of the package is a lithograph from Disney’s upcoming feature Wish, a certificate of authenticity, and a rather striking crystal Mickey Mouse ears hat engraved with the “Disney 100” logo. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT SpaceX's next-gen Starship rocket grounded by the FAA The regulator has told SpaceX to carry out numerous fixes before the rocket can fly again SpaceX’s next-generation Starship vehicle has been grounded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) until the company carries out 63 corrective actions, NBC News reported. The FAA’s demands are the result of its investigation into the uncrewed inaugural test flight of the Starship in April, which ended in spectacular fashion when the rocket exploded shortly after lifting off from SpaceX's Starbase facility in southern Texas. The record-breaking force from the rocket’s 33 Raptor engines also caused the launchpad to disintegrate, sending concrete and other debris across a wide area. SpaceX has now built a much more resilient launchpad and has also refined the design of the Starship. Following a series of ground-based tests, SpaceX chief Elon Musk recently said that it’s ready to launch a second test flight, but the FAA’s decision means it will first it will have to carry out additional testing of safety critical systems, among other measures ... | |

Apple's most highly anticipated event of the year is expected to see it take the wraps off the iPhone 15 as well as the Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches. Streamed live from Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, Apple's event, called "Wonderlust," will begin at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on Tuesday, September 12.
