American street preacher Ryan Schiavo, who was arrested on June 10 for preaching near an LGBT event in Canterbury, England, is calling on Christians "not to back down and bow before" the LGBT movement. Schiavo discussed his arrest during an interview with The Christian Post, explaining that he was unaware an LGBT event was taking place. Glenn Jacobs, the mayor of Knox County, Tenn., is urging conservative Christians to "remain positive" rather than "engage in negativity" as the U.S. finds itself falling on "hard times." The wrester-turned-Republican politician's comments came during the Faith & Freedom Coalition's annual Road to Majority Conference Friday. A Virginia jury has found a Loudoun County Public Schools spokesperson not guilty of a felony perjury charge amid an investigation regarding whether school district officials lied about a sexual assault to avoid controversy over a trans bathroom policy. Wayde Byard claimed he did not know two sexual assaults in 2021 were nonconsensual sexual contact until after the second assault.
