The fourth round of the Life in Transition Survey, conducted across 37 economies, highlights rising inequality of opportunity and diminishing intergenerational mobility.

Findings show a high prevalence of informal employment and underscore the importance of digital inclusion and environmental awareness, stressing reforms in labour conditions and digital skills investment to bridge socioeconomic divides.

This new visualiser will allow you to explore the data set via charts and maps. Graphics can be downloaded for reuse subject to the EBRD's Terms and conditions.
