Parking palooza: Bezosâ big bill

How much have you paid in parking tickets over your driving career? Most people only get them every so often, but everyone knows leaving them unpaid can cause fees to balloon to ridiculous prices. Thatâs why itâs in your best interest to pay them off quickly, and nobody knows this better than Amazon overlord Jeff Bezos, who just paid more than $16,000 in parking tickets during his D.C. mansionâs renovation. The various contractors employed for the job racked up sizable fees due to parking limitations, but the workers had to park somewhere. And now, Jeff is footing the bill, which is a shame considering how much heâs already put into the house. After all, the workers installed 25 bathrooms during the whole ordeal.
