Dear John, One of my favorite quotes of Dad’s is this: Of all the attitudes we can acquire, surely the attitude of gratitude is the most important and by far the most life changing. This week of Thanksgiving in the United States is a time for reflecting on all that we are grateful for, and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much gratitude I have for YOU. The fact that you’re receiving this email means that you value Dad’s timeless wisdom, and that you believe the Ziglar legacy is worth carrying on. You’re in great company! Conservatively estimated, Dad affected over a quarter of a billion — yes, BILLION — people in his lifetime, and we know that number grows daily as his message of hope and encouragement continues to spread. So again, THANK YOU for being a part of that. Now, I have a question to ask: Are you, by chance, grateful for any of the wisdom and know-how you’ve picked up from Dad’s teaching? Particularly, I’d love to know if you attribute any part your success in business (especially sales) to what you learned from some of Dad’s books or audio programs, like Secrets of Closing the Sale. In the new year, we are going to be bringing Dad’s message to a whole new generation, and we are looking for some great testimonials from folks who’ve applied the Ziglar success principles to their business with amazing results. If that’s you, would you reply to this email and let me know? You can give me a short overview of your story, and I’ll follow back up with you. Thanks so much, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving week! You were Born to Win, so go ahead and Live to Win! Tom PS - Quote of the Day: “The greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times.” — Zig Ziglar |
