Did you know that AI programs can count as inventors? At least in Australia. 🦘 The decision came after a University of Surrey law professor tried to patent inventions around the globe. 

The only problem: He cited an AI program named DABUS as the inventor. Both the U.S. and the U.K. have gone on record saying AI can't be listed as the inventor in a patent application. We wonder if this will spark a robotic Renaissance! 🤖
