I don’t normally do much winter gardening. By the end of the season, I’m wiped out. However, I am considering doing a small winter garden plot this year. How about just a section for a little extra food available this winter? :) Yes, that sounds like a good deal. Seedtime is my garden planning tool of choice. I'm an affiliate because I believe in this company. Well... guess what? They are hosting a winter garden challenge/event next week. (no charge to watch.) Perfect timing! Coming up in just one week, a Winter Garden Challenge (July 28 - August 1) Register here. And best of all, it’s free. The lineup of speakers looks pretty impressive. Lots of knowledge in that group. As a challenge, they’ll have specific tasks and projects to help get you started. (They mentioned homework sheets. I love a good checklist.) Speakers include: - Eliot Coleman (Four Season Farm)
- Luke Marion (MIgardener)
- Kevin Espiritu (Epic Gardening)
- Justin & Rebekah Rhodes (The Justin Rhodes Show & Abundance+)
- Melissa Norris (Pioneering Today)
- Josh & Carolyn Thomas (Homesteading Family)
- Michael Kilpatrick (Growing Farmers)
- And many more…
Register here. Join me and let me know if you do a small winter garden plot too. Let’s compare notes. PS if you are interested in the garden calendar I mentioned... you can learn more about it here. |
