Workers reported negative emotions at a 12% higher rate when working for younger rather than older managers, according to a Journal of Organizational Psychology study. "Working daily under a younger supervisor, older subordinates are constantly reminded that they have failed to keep pace," wrote Florian Kunze, co-author of the study.
