If you're on TikTok or part of the health and wellness community, you've probably heard of chlorophyll water. It's the latest health trend that promises to clear up skin, promote digestion and even help with weight-loss. Those claims are impressive to say the least. But, is it too good to be true? Does it still provide awesome health benefits? Don't worry, Dr. Karl has all the answers. You might've already seen there's yet another change in the Commonwealth health advice around COVID-19 vaccines which is creating further confusion and disruption in the national rollout. The AstraZeneca vaccine will now be recommended for use in only those over the age of 60 due to a risk of an extremely rare blood-clotting condition linked with the drug. It's likely to set the date of full vaccination back even further as Pfizer vaccine supplies are limited and it'll be months before Novavax and Moderna vaccines arrive. It's also left many wondering what they should do if they've had their first AstraZeneca dose already, and what are the new levels of risk for their age group? Dr. Norman Swan and Tegan Taylor answer all your COVID-19 questions on Coronacast. And, stay across the latest news, Covid or otherwise, every day Monday-Saturday with AM with Sabra Lane. With all this Covid craziness it's very easy to feel anxious and overwhelmed. So, we encourage you to make self-care your top priority going into this weekend. Take a minute, try some deep breathing or a guided meditation to find some inner peace. Take care, ABC listen 🎧 |
