A first-class problem: Mayor LaToya Cantrell was already facing criticism for her travel to spots around the country and abroad. But as Joseph Cranney reports, it appears that her penchant for flying first-class could run afoul of the city's own travel policy. Her office says there is still time to reimburse the $29,000 in upgrades.
A short-term solution: The city council voted to pause short-term rental applications Monday in response to a federal appeals court ruling last week that the current law descriminates against out-of-state property owners. This, the council said, will allow it to come up with a new law that passes legal muster by March, but as Ben Myers reports, the moratorium was immediately met with another lawsuit.
Decisions, decisions: The Saints have begun the process of cutting their roster down to the 53 players they'll start the regular season with in just under two weeks against the Falcons.
