What is Florida reopening? It’s a toss-up!Florida made headlines when it announced it would begin fully reopening its economy in the latter portion of 2020. But out of all the events that were shut down or rescheduled, few were as missed as the annual “Mullet Toss” near the Florida-Alabama state line. The event, which takes place at the Flora-Bama Lounge, requires participants to throw a dead fish as far as they can over the state border. Winners are evaluated on distance and new records. The event had been called off previously, but thanks to intervention from Governor Ron DeSantis, fish are flying once more in the Sunshine State.
