DOJ Antitrust Unit OKs Cigna, Express Scripts $52B Merger

The announcement comes after shareholders from both Cigna and Express Scripts overwhelmingly voted to approve the merger in late August.
Insurance regulators in 16 states have already approved the deal.
All that remains for the merger is approval from a handful of state regulators, which should take place by the end of the year.
Activist shareholder Carl Icahn originally opposed the deal but dropped his efforts in early August.
