Financial Panther

Posts highlight tools and media you can use to help optimize your finances and document the blogger's own "side hustle" efforts in the sharing economy.

Question of the Week

Have you ever moonlighted to supplement your primary income?

This week's featured blawg is Financial Panther, which focuses on a Minneapolis government lawyer's management of his finances--including his "side hustles," among them dog sitting, renting out a spare bedroom on Airbnb, delivering food via bike and selling furniture and other items he found in the trash.

This week, we'd like to ask you: Have you ever moonlighted to supplement your income? If so, what did you do, and at what stage of your career were you? Or do you make money on the side for the sake of doing something you love, like creating art or performing with a band?

Answer in the comments.

Read the answers to last week's question: Is there an essential clothing brand or item that you buy repeatedly?

Posted by MFreeman: "Florsheim dress/work shoes because they're comfortable, look decent and are good value. J. Garcia ties because they're not boring, tie well and, while I'm not a true deadhead, I had respect for the man and his music."
