She is an independent safety consultant with more than 40 years of healthcare experience. She works with a number of healthcare systems nationally for CMS and Joint Commission readiness in the areas of environment of care, life safety, and emergency management.
 

Thomas J. Huser, MS, CHSP, CHEP, is safety coordinator at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. With more than 30 years of experience, ranging from hospital management to emergency preparedness planning to fire safety instruction, Huser brings administrative and real-world knowledge to his work in healthcare safety and emergency preparedness.
