It’s been somewhat amusing to see. The same church leaders who were mocking online services in 2019 are now excitedly promoting their “live streams” and virtual Bible studies. I understand the about-face. The coronavirus pandemic has caused massive disruptions to the way we do church—and we’re all scrambling to adapt.
Doing church online is one thing; discipling online is another. Discipling in a Digital Age is a great primer for anyone wanting to understand and reach a generation that lives increasingly on their phones. Amid all the eagerness to connect online, Hannah King offers a wise caveat.
