Good morning and happy Labor Day Weekend!

This Saturday, it will be hot and humid under partly cloudy skies. Pop-up showers and storms will be possible late in the afternoon and early evening. The chance for rain is 20%. Expect a high in the upper-90s with a heat index near 100°. There will be a gentle breeze from the east-southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Although a stray shower is possible Sunday and Monday, it will remain hot and humid throughout the rest of the extended weekend. In the week ahead, skies will become cloudier mid-week, but widespread rain is not expected for the next several days.
