I’ve never written about this publicly…

Dear Reader,

I've never written about this publicly…

But in June 2012, I made a mistake that cost me more than a million dollars.

My mistake?

I didn't buy Bitcoin.

Everything I had read about this new digital asset interested me. I was intrigued by the potential of a truly free-market currency that no government could inflate or manipulate.

But when I looked into buying it, the whole process seemed too complicated and risky. Plus, nothing like today's exchanges even existed. So I held off.

At that time, one bitcoin was worth $5. This week, Bitcoin traded for more than $7,000.

Meaning if I had bought just $1,000 worth of Bitcoin as I had intended, it would be worth more than $1.4 million today.

But it gets worse…

You see, I made a similar mistake again in 2013.

Bitcoin had risen to about $50 by that time, and it caught my eye again. So I went online to place my first order.

But remember, buying Bitcoin back then wasn't as easy as it is today. You couldn't simply transfer money from your bank. And exchanges often took days – and sometimes even weeks – to process transactions.

That's exactly what happened to me. And as I waited for my order, I watched the price of Bitcoin soar to more than $250… before crashing back to near $50 again.

I hate to admit it… but I got frustrated and panicked. I was afraid the Bitcoin "bubble" had popped, and I asked for my money back.

Little did I know, Bitcoin would go on to hit $1,000 before year-end. And if I had simply held on, I'd have more than 100 times my money today.

Now, look… if you're like most folks, you're probably feeling like I did back then…

Maybe you're interested… but you're afraid you've already missed out on the big, life-changing gains.

Or you think the process sounds too complicated for you to understand.

I get it.

But quite frankly, that outlook could cost you a fortune if this cryptocurrency boom continues.

So I urge you to learn more today.

And if you're interested in getting started with cryptos, there is no better guide than our colleague, and top crypto analyst, Tama Churchouse.
