| The Story of Dalton Northway Dalton Northway is a typical, fun-loving 10-year-old boy from Brownsdale, Minnesota. He is part prankster, part daredevil, and loves to go waterskiing with his family whenever possible. One summer afternoon, the unthinkable happened when a boating accident nearly severed both of his legs and gashed one of his arms. Requiring three tourniquets and with time being of the essence, he was airlifted to the Level I Pediatric Trauma Center at Hennepin Healthcare in downtown Minneapolis, where a team of experts quickly assembled to try and save Dalton’s legs…and his life.
