You probably know the tale: It’s Christmas 1947. Inside the walls of New York’s Macy’s Department Store, an old man by the name of Kris Kringle gets a job working as the beloved Santa Claus. His joy and generosity make people take note across the city. Word gets out he truly believes he is Santa, and after an unfortunate set up, he is institutionalized for fear of being delusional and dangerous. A lawyer and a young girl must prove in court that he is who he believes he is, and protect the joy of Christmas fantasy for generations to come.
