Ring in the Lunar New Year with SAAM

In-Person Lunar New Year Family Day
Saturday, January 28, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. ET

Join us in person for the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s annual Lunar New Year celebration featuring vibrant Chinese and Korean traditions! Enjoy performances, including the beloved Lion Dance, crafts, demonstrations, and more. Learn about the importance of the Lunar New Year across cultures and welcome the Year of the Rabbit, represented in the Chinese zodiac. A special menu in honor of Lunar New Year will be offered by the Courtyard Café.
