A flurry of cannabis M&A is lifting shares of Tilray.
Several pot companies recently announced mergers and acquisitions, and the market seems to suspect Tilray might be next.
On Thursday, Cresco Labs agreed to acquire Columbia Care, and Aurora Cannabis said it would buy out Terra Farms.
The pot sector is also running hot on news the US House of Representatives is preparing a bill that would end federal prohibition of cannabis.
TLRY soared to a 21.9% gain on Thursday when those new stories broke, and the stock carried its momentum into the after-hours trading session.
TLRY is trading actively with a 13.3% gain in today's premarket.
Clever Leaves Holdings [CLVR] - Last Close: $1.58
Clever Leaves is up after a strong earnings release.
The pharmaceutical-grade cannabinoid producer reported a net loss of $24 million on revenues of $4.2 million in Q4, marking 25% sales growth from the year-earlier quarter.
Clever Leave's full-year sales increased 27% to $15.4 million in the firm's full-year 2021, but its net loss also grew by 76%.
CLVR is up 31.47% on active trading volume.
