Good afternoon! — or not-so-good afternoon, if you're commuting in southern Minnesota tonight. Flooding from several rounds of torrential rain today closed I-90 at Austin and another stretch of I-90 in South Dakota this afternoon. Check that traffic update here.
In the Twin Cities, state health officials warn of a bat found in downtown Minneapolis this week, which has tested positive for rabies. If you think you or someone you know may have had physical contact with the bat, call the state Health Department.
And... another bit of not-so-good news: The MayDay parade , which has marked the coming of spring to south Minneapolis for 45 years, will take next year off. But don't be so sad. It will come back in 2021.
