Utah-based essential oil giants blasted for operating in Russia in Yale report
As a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, many companies have adopted the common strategy of ceasing business within the country. Big-hitters such as H&M, Exxon Mobil and Adidas have cut ties with Russia in one form or another.
Recently, the Yale School of Management released a report featuring roughly 500 companies whose responses to Russia's invasion of Ukraine varied greatly. The list includes companies that have withdrawn from the country altogether to companies "that are just continuing business-as-usual in Russia." The list assigns companies a letter grade of A-F.
Though they have disputed their ranking, two Utah companies, doTerra and Young Living, have come under fire. They are included in Yale's report and received low grades.

Independent Senate candidate Evan McMullin launched a new digital ad campaign targeting Sen. Mike Lee for his part in Donald Trump's effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Shortly after, Trump publicly endorsed Lee and criticized both McMullin and Sen. Mitt Romney.
“There is no greater voice for our Military, our Vets, Law and Order, or Second Amendment, which is under total siege,” he said. “He loves his State, and is by far the superior Senator there — not even a contest!” Trump said of Lee. Trump chastised McMullin, saying “Evan ‘McMuffin’ McMullin, a man that doesn’t represent the standards and policies” of Utahns.
It is important to note that "Lee faces challenges within his party for the Republican nomination and would not face McMullin until the general election," Dennis Romboy writes. Romney has not responded to the criticism, nor has he endorsed a candidate.

The Utah Jazz have not always had a consistent track record, they've certainly had their ups and downs. Many would describe this particular season as one of their downs.
"Despite Thursday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Utah Jazz and their fans are in the midst of one of the team’s most frustrating stretches in a long time as the 2022 playoffs approach, and emotions for many are running high," writes Ryan McDonald.
On top of that, the Jazz recently placed number 13 out of 30 in the NBA's Future Power Rankings, the lowest they've ever placed since 2014, when Quin Snyder took on the position of head coach.
