Double Purpose Pot of Tea

By Mina

A bright red teapot.I enjoy a good cup of strong hot tea in the evening after a long day. The making of a whole pot of tea is a waste when you only take one cup from it and the rest goes down the sink. I chided myself every time I did it.

DIY Pore Minimizing Face Primer

By attosa

DIY Pore Minimizing Face Primer - holding a small container of primerMy favourite pore minimizing primer is a whopping $31 for a .75 ounce tube. That's crazy talk for us who are budgeting. I also noticed there are plenty of ingredients in it I cannot pronounce, so I tried making my own with things I already have in my makeup bag. It ended up being awesome, and is now my go-to primer!

Chimichurri Inspired Sauce

By 15mhhm15

Chimichurri Inspired Sauce collageThis is an inspired and kid friendly version of chimichurri sauce. Typical chimichurri includes some sort of pepper like chili, red, green, or your choice of peppers. This is typically not made with a food processed. Ingredients are usually chopped but this is a kid friendly method, and also time efficient!

Using Herb Scissors

By Bella Blue

herb scissorsI am loving my new herb scissors by Ball. They have several blades so they chop up herbs into tiny bits in no time and really don't miss much. They come with a sheath/comb to get any stuck herbs out of the scissors. They are pretty cool and not very spendy.

Canning Stew in the Oven
My mother and I recently canned a vegetable stew. She swears by the oven canning method and so we did that. My question is, why is this method not recommended even with everything being consistently hot? I would imagine everything would be killed off.
Fixing Hair That Turned Orange After Dyeing
I'm in hair school and we had a fantasy competition. I dyed my mannequin with Pravana trying to do an orange melted into a pastel coral, but it came out a really ugly light orange. Is there any color I can use now to make it look good without stripping it? Like could I go red?
