Dear Skateistan supporters,

This Giving Tuesday, double the impact of your donation to give girls a space where they’re supported, encouraged and celebrated at Skateistan. Donations will be matched up to 10K.

Earlier this year we celebrated Women’s Day in Atlantis with Melissa Williams and her creative team. Our students learned about the experiences of being women in certain industries, like professional skateboarding and photography, and developed tools to build confidence in themselves. The next generation of girls inspires each other to be the best they can be, they Skate Beyond Borders.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: MEET MONA

Mona* is 12 years old and lives in Irbid, Jordan.

Located in northern Jordan, Irbid is the second largest city in the country after the capital, Amman. Eight kilometers west from Irbid, you can find rural Deir il Se’neh, a small village where Mona and her family live.
