| Dear , Canada is facing a critical moment in its history — the aftermath of a global health crisis, the urgent need to address biodiversity loss and climate change, and the opportunity to work with Indigenous peoples on the road to reconciliation are topics of vital importance to all Canadians. They are also priority areas for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) as we work to inform Canadians about our country in order to chart a brighter future.
Through our iconic magazine, Canadian Geographic, the RCGS is committed to promoting an awareness of our past, while also shining a spotlight on the challenges of the present and the opportunities of the future. And we are working to ensure that all Canadians have the information they need to hold difficult conversations, the tools they need to engage with their communities and the inspiration they need to take action. Giving Tuesday is a global movement that harnesses individual generosity to make a significant difference at both the local and international levels. It takes place each year on the Tuesday after Black Friday. |
