• Dow closes above 32,000 for first time on stimulus bill vote

    The Dow and S&P 500 charged higher after Biden’s $1.9T COVID-19 relief bill cleared the House and now heads to the President’s desk. Energy and financial stocks led gains in 10 of the S&P’s 11 sectors. The exception was tech stocks, which fell, leaving the Nasdaq modestly lower.
