• Dow sees 200 point jump, Intel jumps

    U.S. stocks saw solid gains on Wednesday ahead of the second day of testimony from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, and U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, on the pace of COVID-19 relief efforts. The Dow led the gains as Intel rallied after announcing it will spend $20B to build two new chip manufacturing plants in Arizona. Oil also jumped after a tanker got stuck in the Suez Canal threatening a global supply disruption.
