In the early 1900s, in what today is part of the Whittier neighborhood in Minneapolis, an entrepreneurial heir to the Pillsbury flour milling and packaged goods fortune erected a 20-room mansion faced in rough-cut Platteville limestone. Known as Pillsbury Castle, the English Tudor-Gothic home was purchased by a design-savvy local couple who enlisted not one or two but more than two dozen designers to transform the house into their forever home. "Robb Report" takes a spin through the baronial home, where period details were restored, and modern comforts installed. It’s not so unusual for retired and well-to-do Minneapolitans to head south for the winter, with many alighting in Florida, where a sprawling 1990s contemporary home in West Palm Beach that was custom built for the late designer bathroom fixture moguls Sherle and Rose Wagner has poured onto the market looking for its next snowbird (or full-time) owner.
