William Grant, PhD is the founding director of Sunlight, Nutrition, and Health Research Center (SUNARC) of San Francisco. He has a doctorate in physics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Grant is the author of ~300 PubMed-listed articles on vitamins, 163 of which concern the relationship of vitamin D to cancer.
