HOLIDAY THEMED LIVE COMEDY START THIS WEEKEND!

Second City at the Arlington Drafthouse, Bah, Humbug! An Improvised Christmas Carol at Drafthouse Comedy in DC and a new sketch group (House Band) performing a Christmas themed sketch show on 12/23. See you at our Arlington or DC location for Holiday fun this year!

Celebrate this Holiday Season with laughter!  The Baltimore Improv Group is proud to team up with The Arlington Drafthouse and Drafthouse Comedy in DC to present a truly irreverent take on A Christmas Carol.  Though main plot points remain the same (Tiny Tim is sickly, Marley is dead, etc) the show itself is largely improvised with the performers using audience suggestions and interaction to inspire wild deviations from a standard retelling.  Raucous, daring and hilarious, the show goes as far as to take audience members up onstage to fill out roles the four person cast cannot!

"House Band's Christmas Not-So Spectacular" is a one hour show featuring hysterical, intelligent, and completely original comedy sketches. House Band takes aim at everything wholesome about the holiday season. A ridiculous, creative, and unique perspective of Santa, family, love, sports, cheer, religion, and foot massages.

Second City's Nutcracking Holiday Revue features a seasonal blend of hilarious scenes, songs and our trademark improvisation with a sprig of holiday mischief for a night of spirited fun. Funny, bright and completely original, Second City's Nutcracking Holiday Revue is the perfect alternative to the same old holiday shows.

Michael Kosta is a stand-up comedian who currently hosts and co-executive produces The Comment Section for The Kardashian Network (formerly E!). The show, which is also produced by Joel McHale, deconstructs the daily goings-on of pop culture via social media. Previously, Michael was seen on Fox Sports 1's, Crowd Goes Wild, on which he and Regis Philbin lead a panel of experts in a lighthearted look at the world of sports.

Whether you know him best as the former host of E! Television's Talk Soup, the boyish Michael on Showtime's Queer as Folk, or as the bubble-wrap wearing cult leader desperately seeking the "continuum transfunctioner" in Dude, Where's My Car, comic actor Hal Sparks has been cracking up film and television viewers since his feature debut in the 1989 cult classic Chopper Chicks in Zombietown.

Tom Green sparked a TV revolution with his hit MTV comedy series "The Tom Green Show." One of MTV's top-rated programs, "The Tom Green Show" paved the way for shows like "Jackass," "Punk'd" and "Fear Factor. With its guerrilla video tactics and outrageous stunts, it was unlike anything that had been seen before.

Every 1st and 3rd Friday, comedians Stephen Nicks and Max Rosenblum host "VENT!", an interactive happy hour and comedy show. The show has local comedians and you, the crowd! Complaints encouraged.

Come out and see DC's best comedians do the jokes they can't do at other venues. Every Saturday!! FREE FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS!

Off the Rails features local performers telling stories and being misdirected by their host. It's part storytelling, part improv, and lots of non sequiturs. Experimental comedy gets fun.

What's your pleasure? More than one? Scratch all your itches at one time. Drag Queens, Drag Kings, Burlesquers, Comics and performers of the night present to you a show of drag, derriere and delight. Will do multiple performances through out the year on select Thursday nights.
