It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of Drafthouse Comedy located at 1100 13th St NW Washington DC. Under the current circumstances with COVID-19 limitations in Washington, DC we are not legally allowed to operate the business. The burden of continued business obligations - specifically rent, utilities, licenses & insurance - has been too difficult to continue operations. We have reached an agreement with the Landlord in DC and have mutually agreed to close the Washington DC location.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our 4 years in the district, providing a stage to National Headlining acts as well as up and coming comics, both local and national. It has been a true pleasure working with you all!!
We continue to operate safely out of our Arlington, VA location at a reduced capacity. Please visit our website HERE for an amazing lineup of comics as we try to keep the laughter going during this difficult time.
