Woman tricked out of her clothing while being scammed out of $5,900: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter
A resident reported July 23 that she was scammed out of $5,900 after receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be with her bank and advising that there were fraudulent charges on her account. To secure your funds, the caller walked her through the process to open an account at another bank. He then had her transfer all her money to that account.
