It may be a good time to do so, said LSU AgCenter professor Randy Price, as drones in agriculture have emerged in the last six to eight years. Early drones were used for crop monitoring and field mapping, but now sprayer technology is allowing drones to take over on the farm. But there's an issue (there always is).
