Displaced? Here's How to Make Sure You Get Your Ballot!

  1. Update Your Mailing Address. To vote in Oregon, you must provide a the county with a physical address. This could be a shelter, a church, a social service agency, or any other identifyable location (including your county elections office). Voters who have been displaced or lost their homes should update their mailing address, even though their legal address is still the site of their lost home. Any Oregon voter can pick up their ballot directly from the county elections office if necessary.
  2. Staying in another County? Request a Provisional Ballot. You can request a provisional ballot at any county elections office, and vote in a different county than you are registered in. To obtain a provisional ballot you need to fill out a Provisional Ballot Request Form in person at the county elections office.
  3. Election Day is Tuesday November 3rd! Ballots are due by 8PM on Tuesday November 3rd. Postage is no longer required to mail your Oregon ballot. You may drop your ballot off at any drop site up until 8PM on November 3rd.
