Display Screen Equipment (DSE) risk management training

This course, delivered by experienced HSE ergonomists, provides an overview of the legal, moral and financial reasons why DSE risk management is so important. It explains how to achieve good posture when working in the office, when working from home or when you are on the move with laptops, tablets and smartphones. The course covers the key elements for office DSE risk assessment and management, and provides the information and techniques required to enable delegates to become a DSE assessor.

Matt Birtles is an experienced Principal Ergonomist who has focused on the development and application of workplace MSD risk assessments and risk reductions for 20 years. As part of this work, Matt develops and delivers training courses on workplace MSD risk management, leads HSE’s ergonomics consultancy services, supports HSE MSD policy and provides ergonomics guidance to most industrial sectors in the UK and internationally.
