Apple will reportedly run a campaign giving you a chance to recycle items that are not normally part of its trade-in program in return for discounts of up to $20 on items like AirPods, AirTags, Apple Pencils, watch bands, cases, and Mac peripherals. Apple doesn't usually give store credit for every item that it accepts for recycling, so it's a good chance to squeeze some value out of old gear that you no longer use.
