Acer announces 10% price hike for its laptops in wake of U.S. tariffs |
Acer chief Jason Chen said that price increases on its laptops sold in the U.S. will apply from next month, adding that to beat President Trump's tariffs, he would consider shifting manufacturing out of China, including to the U.S. “We think 10% probably will be the default price increase because of the import tax, it’s very straightforward,” Chen said.
