ChatGPT for the Mac just went free
| The ChatGPT Mac app can be downloaded directly from OpenAI’s website
| After a limited rollout to ChatGPT Plus subscribers last month, OpenAI’s ChatGPT app is now available to everyone on macOS — as long as the machine has Sonoma and Apple Silicon, Digital Trends reported. Opening the ChatGPT app brings up a bar where you can type your question to begin your exchange with the AI-powered chatbot. Conveniently, you can also click the attachments icon to upload a file or a photo, or take a photo or a screenshot to include in your inquiry. The same ChatGPT app isn’t yet available for Windows machines, which might seem odd considering Microsoft’s heavy backing of OpenAI. However, OpenAI says it’s coming to Windows “later this year” ... | |

The Apple Watch could be about to grow again
| Apple is expected to launch the 10th version of the Apple Watch in the fall
| Renders apparently showing the next version of the Apple Watch appear to back up an earlier rumor about the tech giant’s smartwatch. Coming from 91Mobiles, the text accompanying the renders suggests that the next Apple Watch could boast a 2-inch display, a significant increase on the 1.7-inch display of the Apple Watch Series 9 and the 1.93-inch display of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. It would also be the first major display boost for the device since the Apple Watch 7, which came out in 2021. This larger display could potentially revolutionize the user experience of the Apple Watch, Digital Trends reported ... | |

UE’s cute Everboom speaker is a smaller version of the Epicboom
| California-based UE has just added another Bluetooth portable speaker to its popular lineup
| Ultimate Ears (UE) has just launched a new portable Bluetooth speaker called the Everboom. The Everboom takes its design inspiration from the racetrack-oval-shaped Epicboom, but has smaller proportions, Digital Trends reported. And instead of the Epicboom’s built-in hand strap, the Everboom has a small fabric loop on the back panel, and the speaker comes with a color-matched carabiner so you can hang it or attach it to your backpack. Battery life is advertised at up to 20 hours, and it charges in three hours when using a USB-C PD charger with at least 15 watts. The Everboom tips the scales at 2.1 pounds, costs $200, and is available now ... | |

Paramount just killed more online content, including Comedy Central archive
| It means clips from popular series such as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report no longer have a home — not even on Paramount+
| After removing decades of archived content from MTV News, Paramount has now done the same to Comedy Central, MTV, TV Land, the Paramount Network, and CMT, The Wrap reported. Paramount is directing visitors to network-branded versions of Paramount+, but “instead of the traditional versions of these sites, the new pages include tailored collections of Paramount+ content meant to appeal to the fans of each of the company’s traditional outlets,” The Wrap explains. Paramount said: “As part of broader website changes across Paramount, we have introduced more streamlined versions of our sites, driving fans to Paramount+ to watch their favorite shows” ... | |

| Sony has revealed the three games that PS Plus Essential subscribers will be getting for no additional cost this July
| The PlayStation Plus Essential titles coming in July are Among Us, Borderlands 3, and NHL 24, ScreenRant reported. The best of the bunch is surely Among Us, a popular social deduction multiplayer game that went viral in 2020 and remains popular. Among Us involves groups of crewmates working to complete various tasks on a map while trying to avoid being secretly killed by an imposter. Borderlands 3 is a more cooperative-focused multiplayer game in the form of a looter-shooter where the goal is to keep fighting enemies and acquire better guns, while NHL 24 is the latest hockey video game from EA ... | |
